Meeting the European standard EN1335 means that an Ergohuman Chair complies with 6 standards for Occupational Health & Safety, and quality standards.

Meeting the North American BIFMA standard means an Ergohuman Chair has passed tests for strength, durability, and stability based on a 10 year product life of full time use.

The Ergohuman Elite and Luxury SE models are certified under BS5459 for bodyweights upto 150kg and for use up to 24 hours per day (3 shifts).

Greenguard Gold Certification means an Ergohuman Chair has the lowest level of 'Volatile Organic Compound' emissions as required for Medical and Childcare facilities.
All stock of chairs available to purchase on the website are held in our warehouse in Mangere, Auckland. Delivery to an Auckland address is 1-2 working days, Wellington 3-4 working days and South Island and other addresses are 4-6 working days.
No Chairs are delivered from overseas but some spares and accessories are delivered from Australia. All returns are to our warehouse in Mangere.
The best way to try an ergonomic chair is to use one full time for a few days. Changing your office chair can result in discomfort initially as you adjust to a different seating posture. We do not have showrooms and the Ergohuman range is available online only.
We offer a 60 day change of mind returns process if the Chair does not work for you. If you decide to take advantage of the return, we refund the Chair but not the delivery or return shipping costs, to our warehouse in Mangere.

The chairs arrive packed in a box to ensure you receive it in pristine condition.
Assembly is straight forward and will take 12-15 minutes for one person. Everything you need to complete assembly is included in the box.

We can arrange for you to collect your chair from our warehouse in Mangere, Auckland.
The Box is at least 30kg and measures 78x58x66cm, so you will need a vehicle able to accommodate the chair.

Spares and accessories for all models of Ergohuman are available going right back to the 2005 models.
Our Factories are vertically integrated with all parts manufactured in house. This parts back-up will remain in place well beyond the useful life of your chair.
Some parts for older models will be shipped from Australia and may takes 5-7 working days for delivery.
An Ergohuman Chair is designed to last 10 years in full time use of 8 hours per working day under normal use conditions and maintenance.
To provide peace of mind that your Chair will last, we include a 5 year Warranty for the older models and a 10 year Warranty for the Gen 2 update models available from March 2026.
